I have known Dr. Simpson since before he had his own practice and his love for animals has always been evident. I trust him with all my pets and will continue to use him for my furbabies. The new hospital is also clean, and well maintained. The techs I have met so far are nice and knowledgeable and seem to also care for animals. 100% recommended Furwell for all your pet needs!

Cannot begin to tell everyone how great Furwell Vet has been to our family. Last week had to make the decision to put our sweet Kemba down. Dr Tyler explained everything completely and said it was time. He was so compassionate and caring. Explained everything completely how it would happen and we could be there with him until the very end. His staff including Ana was so sweet and loving to us and Kemba. Gave him treats and made sure he was comfortable. Have used different vets over the years- none like this one. If you are looking or if your vet and staff do not offer the most sensitive care in all circumstances, you should give Furwell a try. Today my husband and I got flowers from them. Just a sweet bouquet with a message they were thinking of us!
I thank them so very much for making this difficult time bearable.

This is a long story, but I'll try and make it short and sweet. I feed a couple of colonies, and on the way home in July one evening, I saw a lone cat chancing traffic in a horrible intersection. I tried to lure her away from traffic, but found her glued to a curb because she had a kitten there. After 4 hours I was able to grab the kitten, but that left a very distraught momma. I made her a promise that night to come back for her, and after a week of feeding I was able to get her into a trap. I had no place for her at that time, so she was boarded at the Cat Clinic until Monday (it was Friday). Ashby ( I named her) tested negative on her combo, but I was told she had a diaphragmatic hernia (her guts were in her chest) and that she had to have surgery in the next 48 hours. Fetch and Upstate were both 5k dollars. I'm a fireman, and definitely not rich, so I kept calling around. Furwell offered to take the surgery at a lower price, and seeing as how I couldn't let her life end this way I stopped by and maxed out a credit card and delivered the cat.

Dr. Simpson performed the complex surgery and said he was shocked the cat was still alive, and had survived giving birth. Parts of her organs were pushed through the chest wall making it very hard for her to breathe. How she raised her kitten and kept it safe while dealing with this is a true miracle. This was a few weeks ago, and this past Ashby left with her kitten to be with a rescue where she'll be fostered until a good home can be found. I hope and pray that she and her kitten have a wonderful life now with no suffering.

The Doctor and his staff are top notch from what I've seen. They updated me every day, and even afterwards texted to check up on her to make sure she was okay every day. I really wish they were closer as I would bring my own cats to the practice. It's rare that you find someone as skilled and kind as the staff and Doctor, so I would recommend them without hesitation. A good Vet is very hard to find in our area, so if you're hesitating, don't!

Today, we (firemen) received a pizza lunch from FurWell which just lets you know how thoughtful and caring they are. Thank you guys so much for taking a stray cat in and seeing the importance of her life. They are all beautiful little souls and they deserve a shot at being loved and living a life without suffering

David

PS: I tell everyone that nothing happens by chance, and if you just go with the situation, even if seemingly dire, things will often work out. I was able to raise the money needed for Ashby by reaching out to good friends. Please don't let an animal that is suffering pass you by. This is the universe sending you a chance to grow and better yourself by learning to love and give when you don't always have that much to spare.

I cannot say enough good things about FurWell Veterinary Clinic. Went today for the first time and was so impressed with Dr. Simpson and his staff! Most vets are great with the fur babies but often lacking in “bedside manner” with the humans. That is most definitely not the case here! Dr. Simpson was very thorough and not only was he wonderful with our kitty, Lurch, but he took the time and effort to make sure my son and I were comfortable and understood what he was telling us. He is not only extremely knowledgeable, personable and professional, I found him to be quite amusing.

Anna may be the most wonderful and amazing vet tech I have ever met!! She was fantastic with Lurch, treated my son and I as if she has known us forever, gave our kitty a catnip toy that she hand made and even texted us the next day to see how our baby was doing!

Overall this was an amazing trip to the vet. Our fur baby is only a year old so I look forward to having many more encounters with Dr. Simpson and his staff. If you’re in need of a veterinarian I highly recommend FurWell!!! 😺

Had my boxer with a swollen ear and constant shaking of head. Furwell got him in the next day, treated for yeast in the ear canals and drained swollen ear. Staff and Dr. met with me, explained it all - answered questions. I couldn’t ask for more. If you want an informed and immediate care plan, this is the place!

I love this office! They are never too busy to help in an emergency or to answer questions I may have! One of our rescues loves to eat things he shouldn’t, and Dr. Simpson and his staff have always got him in quickly!

Dr. Tyler is of the most caring vets I have ever met, and his expertise and experience (caring for his own pets and working in other vet hospitals) is beyond what I would want in my pets' veterinarian. The entire staff is like family to me, and love my pets like their own; clearly, Dr Tyler chose his staff with care, and it shows. This practice is far superior to any I've researched, and I will be a "forever client"!!!

Dr Tyler and his staff have taken such great care of our little dog Luna. She's a lightweight at only 6 lbs so she always seems to have something that requires attention and FurWell always gives her the love and care that she needs at every visit. My family can't say enough about how much we appreciate them.

Dr Simpson is the best! He became our two yorkies’ vet when he was practicing at another clinic. We followed him because he is that good. He saved Maya’s life when he discovered a tumor on her spleen while removing a bladder stone. He advises wisely without over treating. We are so happy and excited that he has his own clinic.

Such a great and welcoming experience. Barnaby had such a bad scrotal infection and was so sore but Dr Simpson helped heal him up. I liked all the options for treatments the doctor thought about too. Seemed there were many ideas he had and not just the heres an antibiotic approach although we did need that too! My boy is back to being his happy self!

This vet clinic is the BEST. I took my Boston Terrier to see Dr. Simpson for a second opinion after seeing a previous vet. My little dude wasn’t getting any better and I needed someone who was thorough. Dr. Simpson is very thorough and explained things well to me. I much appreciated the detailed Loom video he sent explaining the blood work findings and what the next steps we would need to take. It helped decrease my dog mom anxiety. All the staff are super sweet too and were very caring with my little guy. I just moved here a few months ago and FurWell will be my go to vet clinic for all my other dogs as well. They rock!

I took my cats to my previous vet for at least a decade but they are now a half-hour drive from me. And my elderly cats just can't handle the drive anymore & got sick every time. I saw that Furwell was opening up near me and decided to take a chance (change is hard) and I'm SO glad I did! Dr. Tyler Simpson and his staff have been wonderful and care for my cats like family. He really listens to my concerns and the staff follows up & asks how they're doing. They've been very helpful. I'm so glad they're here in my "neighborhood".
